Handmade from scratch in your choice of precious metal, using ancient goldsmithing techniques, with all the beautiful marks of the hand-forging process intact rather than polishing them away. The amulet is set with an ethically sourced, known provenance gem of your choice, and hand-engraved to create the details of the eye. I absolutely love this little talisman. This listing is for the charm only. Gemstones shown here include: champagne Canadian diamonds, blue Montana sapphires (lighter blue hue), blue Ceylon sapphire (darker blue), and green Brazilian tourmaline.

According to the Encyclopedia Brittanica, "belief in the evil eye is ancient and ubiquitous; it occurred in ancient Greece and Rome, in Jewish, Islamic, Buddhist, and Hindu traditions, and in indigenous, peasant, and other folk societies it has persisted throughout the world into modern times" - the amulet depicting the eye is the protection charm worn to protect oneself from the malevolent evil eye; as our ancestors have done for millennia. All my work is handmade using traditional goldsmithing, stone-setting, and hand-engraving techniques, with my own two hands and a lot of heart and soul.
