Evil Eye Amulet - Sterling Silver & Montana Sapphire

According to the Encyclopedia Brittanica, "belief in the evil eye is ancient and ubiquitous; it occurred in ancient Greece and Rome, in Jewish, Islamic, Buddhist, and Hindu traditions, and in indigenous, peasant, and other folk societies it has persisted throughout the world into modern times" - the amulet depicting the eye is the protection charm worn to protect oneself from the malevolent evil eye; as our ancestors have done for millennia. Keep your juju good, your aura clear, and the bad spirits away! Who doesn't need good juju in an era of spiritual corruption, misinformation, dogma, and technocracy?!

I've handmade this amulet from scratch in solid, recycled sterling silver using ancient goldsmithing techniques and I've kept all the beautiful marks of the hand-forging process intact rather than polishing them away. The amulet is set with a cornflower blue, natural Montana sapphire, and hand-engraved to create the details of the eye. I absolutely love this little talisman. You can purchase the charm alone or the charm with chain. The chain is 1.5mm oval rolo chain and can be worn at either 16 or 18 inches. Finished with a hand-forged clasp.

All my work is handmade using traditional goldsmithing, stone-setting, and hand-engraving techniques, with my own two hands and a lot of heart and soul.
