Heavenly Bodies Orb - Sapphires

Heavenly Bodies Orb - a meditation on cosmic energies. A beautifully weighty Orb with a bold rise and perfectly rounded edges all around. This ring is one of one - hand-carved to unique dimensions and lost wax cast. It features six high grade, ethically sourced, known provenance gemstones. To create the sun I bead set a 4mm Brazilian citrine. To create the moon I flush set a magical, untreated 4mm Montana sapphire that changes colour from grey to lavender depending on the lighting. In addition, there are 4 star set sapphires: a 2mm light teal from Montana, a 1.5mm light green from Montana, and a 1.5mm pink winza sapphire. Brushed satin finish for an old world feel. This ring measures size 7 on a ring mandrel. It has a width of just under 10mm at the front and tapers to about 5.5mm at the back.

All my work is handmade using traditional goldsmithing, stone-setting, and hand-engraving techniques, with my own two hands and a lot of heart and soul.
