Portal Necklace - Lapis Lazuli

Every dark night of the soul is a gateway to our inner truth; a portal. This design flowed so freely, I hand fabricated the pendant on a whim - sometimes ideas form from the subconscious with almost no awareness at the conscious level. Those designs tend to be my favourites. Negative space in the shape of a diamond, surrounded by an engraved starburst, the portal is strung on a strand of high grade, deep blue lapis lazuli cylinders, inspired by ancient beadwork. Measures 17 inches from end to end, finished with a hand-forged clasp.

All my work is handmade using traditional goldsmithing, stone-setting, and hand-engraving techniques, with my own two hands and a lot of heart and soul.
