Renewal - Limited Edition Block Print

I've been dabbling in block printing for about a year and a half now, using my prints as thank you cards with my jewelry orders. A lot of clients have asked for me to make my prints available for purchase, so here we are :)

This one is titled "Renewal" and is a very limited edition of 8 mini-prints, on beautiful, heavy, 130gsm weight, handcrafted paper, made from recycled cotton and certified by Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). Dimensions are approx 3.5x2 inches or 9x5cm.

This paper is heavily textured and contains speckles of different coloured and sized fibres, in contrast to traditional printmaking paper, which is smooth and white. Thus, the texture and speckles show up uniquely within each print. Rather than considering this a defect, I value it as part of what makes these prints special, satisfying to the senses, and unique. The edges are deckled and can be framed to highlight the torn, deckled edge or hidden beneath a matte in a traditional frame. This beautiful paper is handmade by artisans in a SMETA Audit Certified facility, which ensures fair treatment, safe working conditions, and ethical practices.

Please note: these prints will ship via regular letter mail, no tracking and no insurance. This keeps shipping costs reasonable. If you are ordering a print along with a piece of jewelry or apparel, shipping can be combined, in which case your order will ship in a box with tracking and insurance.
