Shipping policy

Shipping

We ship worldwide from Canada. Orders under $1,000 will ship via the postal service i.e. Canada Post for domestic orders. For US bound orders, we have partnered with a local and fully insured customs broker to fulfill your packages using USPS. Orders destined for outside North America will ship via Canada Post with final fulfillment by your local postal service. Orders over $1,000 will ship via Fedex with signature required for delivery. If you require a different shipping carrier, ex. UPS, or would like to add a signature requirement on a shipment valued under $1000, please contact us before placing your order. 

We cannot take responsibility for packages that are lost due to incorrectly entered addresses. Once an order has been shipped, we are unable to make changes to shipping addresses, so please be certain of your address before placing your order. We will hold any packages that are returned to sender until new shipping costs are paid. If you have any concerns about mail theft please reach out to us to make sure a signature requirement is added to your package. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

After the package has been handed to the courier, the buyer is responsible for it. North Star Jewelry Co is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged in the mail, or that have been marked as delivered but were not received. We are based in Thunder Bay, ON, Canada and our Site charges regional sales tax for any orders shipped within Canada.

International Shipping

We are not responsible for additional taxes and/or duties charged by customs. All import taxes, VAT fees and brokerage fees are the sole responsibility of the client. We do not accept any returned packages due to unpaid fees.

Certain countries have import laws restricting jewelry packages coming into the country. You are responsible for being aware of any laws and restrictions governing your country. Refunds cannot be given on packages seized by customs, and these packages are not covered by insurance.
