Ancestral Dreamscapes Ring - Size 8

Ancestral Dreamscapes. A new series borne from a journey into lineages & the legacies from which we’ve come. In my case, the Brythonic & Gaelic celts, Norse, and Anglo-Saxons. Of course, we’re all descended from people who danced beneath the stars around the fire & lived in intimate relationship with earth, so this work is for all of us.

I cut these ocean jaspers myself, and reclaimed the sterling and 14 karat gold by hand as well, following the ancient tradition of the smithy: heat, quench, forge, repeat. It’s in the time spent that the magic is made! This ring measures size 8 on a ring mandrel, with a wide band that tapers at the back for comfort.

The spiral is an ancient symbol used by primitive cultures across the globe (and particularly prominent in Gaelic, Celtic, and Norse lineages), which represents the cyclical nature of life and the inward journey towards the self and the divine.
